With fearless, powerful and equally as delicate deliveries, Lucy Korts is Brisbane's very own up-and-coming indie pop star on the rise. Korts is known for her intense vulnerability, enchanting vocals and empowering aura. With a courageous approach to songwriting and gripping vocal presence, Lucy is fast becoming known for her distinctive sound and stirring performance style.

Lucy made her live debut in 2017, taking to the stage with the likes of Alex Lahey, The Paper Kites and The Temper Trap for the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers lineup. Korts has since gone on to open for prominent Australian artists such as Cap Carter and Sarah McLeod including landing festival slots for Valley Fiesta, Hidden Lanes Festival and Woodfordia's Festival of Small Halls.

After the successful release of her single ‘Not Your Type’ in 2020, Korts gained recognition through commercial radio including B105. Since dropping her indie pop sensation ‘Gone’ at the beginning of 2022, Lucy has also gained airplay and recognition through Triple J and Unearthed - Including support from The Music, Australian Music Scene, Live Wire AU, Milky and others. Lucy's latest heartbreak drop is ‘Stripped’, a three-track EP featuring stripped versions of her pop tracks EveryoneNot Your Type and Gone

Fresh out of the QUBE Effect program, Korts has been awarded as the winner of the Brisbane City Council's 2023 QUBE Effect, taking home the 'Live Event Award'. Korts also took out the award for the 'QAGOMA Festival', winning the performance slot for the iconic Brisbane Festival in September 2023.
